I'm sorry kids.

Sorry no new posts since Seattle. It can be hard to find a computer out on the road (of course I forgot the laptop). There are so many things we have done I am going to attempt to list them, I will forget alot. Unfortunaly no pictures yet. We have millions I just don't have the teim to upload. Sorry kids. So anyhow Seattle was great. Had an awesome BBQ, finally got to eat at Salumi's(look it up), Swam in Lake Washington, Watched the simpsons Movie, Hung out with Carly(see post below), Climbed random mountain, Went to the planetarium just to name a few. Then we took the Ferry across the Sound to Bremerton. Ate a dogshit Burrito(long story). Spent the afternoon in Port Angeles, WA. Camped on the coast that night In La Push, WA. Woke up. Went to Portland. Hung out with Penis and scoped the town. Followed by Crater Lake(so amazing!) Slept in Redwoods. Did A winery Tour. Currently in Sacremento visiting a friend. Headed to San Francisco tommorow. Miss all you peeps. Be home soon....

Mountain Death March

http://s107.photobucket.com/albums/m318/mhilton_2006/If you ever wake some sleepy morning and you are lounging around wishing you could do something a little more adventurous, let me warn you. Hiking the Grand Tetons is one of the most amazing things you will ever do, but also one of the most physically demanding things that you could ever do.

After an insane drive straight to Wyoming (30 hours straight in shifts!) We arrived in Yellowstone about Noon and jumped right into the fresh blue water of Yellowstone lake! About as re-energized as possible after such a trip we took off into the wonder of Yellowstone. We got blocked by a Bison (as you can see) Went to the Grand canyon of Yellowstone, and Watched old Faithful! We spent the night in Jackson Hole where we attempted to party but where thwarted by a jerk Bartender who killed the mood. We ended up catching a drink or two with some fat Guido from Philly in a cowboy bar. Who would have thought?

In the morning we began our march up Grand Tetons. We where able to work out the booze rather quickly but we highly under estimated the gain in elevation. After getting blocked by an enormous moose for about 45 minutes(it was gorgeous) we finally got back on the trail and started our way up to Lake Marion. We camped at about 10,000 ft on the edge of a lake and we where so tired by the time we got to this beautiful specimen of nature, we looked, appreciated, then passed out.

The morning we saw the most amazing stuff of the trip on the way back down the hill(which was easier on the body I must say!) After getting rained on an straining our bodies to the max, we caught a good nights sleep at a hotel and then floored it to Seattle.

That being said I'm in Seattle and I want to go have a good time... More soon Kids.. One Love.

Ready, Set, Drive your ass off!

1247 AM, I just came in the door from a long day of packing, moving stuff, trying to figure all the details out, waiting out the worst hangover I have had for years, class reunions, things like that.
The car is running great so no worries there(it had been questionable for a bit) and we have it packed up, gassed up, and Gags has his ridiculous maps with us. You know.. the Trail-rated ones! He's a nerd and I love it.
Anyhow on the eve of this trip just alot of excitement and nervous energy. I know when I wake up at 5:30 this morning the sun will be coming up on the horizon, And it will be good.

Let's get this started

After a night at the brewery which was suppose to lead into discussion of plan(which quickly got off track I must say) Adam, Mike and I are feeling semi-prepared for this arduous task of moving our best friend (Mike Romano) 3000 miles away to an opposing coast, Not to mention hitting every national park, Wildlife reserve, and Pub on the way. We hit the road sunday morning 6 A.M. Sharp.
I will be running this blog through the whole trip so I can post pictures and let all of you live vicariously through us! Anytime I'm not on top of a mountain or at the bottom of a canyon(maybe even a grand one!) I will make some posts.... Wish us luck!
